Most cacao products are roasted at high temperatures above 150C, and then refined through machinery using high heat. Soaring Free Superfoods raw cacao products are carefully dried and cold processed ensuring a truly-raw cacao that keeps the delicate vitamins, minerals and antioxidants intact. It is sourced from small scale organic and biodynamic farms, and is produced from the prized, heirloom Ecuadorian Arriba Nacional variety.
